5 Reasons to Wake Up Earlier

They say the early bird gets the worm, and it’s true!

Tim Cook, Michelle Obama and Richard Branson have all spilled some of their many secrets to success, and what do they all have in common? They wake up early. For whatever reason, whether it’s going for a run or checking the markets, take advantage of your morning.

Life is meant to be lived, and humans already spend about 1/3 of their lives sleeping, so get up! Here are 5 reasons why you should be getting up early:

1. More Time To Do…Whatever!

Waking up early gives you an extra few hours to get things done before the day starts for everyone else.

Go for a jog, do some cleaning or get some work done…which brings us to our next point.

2. Early Start = Early Finish

When you wake up early enough to get a few hours of work done, you could probably afford to shave a few hours off your work day as well.

The possibilites are endless!

3. Starting The Day in a Rush is Never Good

We feel that the way you start your day will set a trend for the rest of the day, and nobody likes to rush. It’s a feeling of unease and worry, so give yourself some extra time to be calm and have a restful mind.

4. You’ll Get a Better Sleep

Waking up early usually means getting tired early. When you go to sleep earlier you get a better night’s sleep and have more energy in the morning. Sure, you’ll want your morning coffee first, but it’s better than 4 espresso shots and a midday redbull to keep you going.

5. Time for Yourself

We all have busy schedules and commitments we need to fulfill, so waking up early gives us that extra time in the morning to spend time with ourselves.

Quiet time gives you the power to think and do things you never find the time for, so set your alarm to 5:00 a.m. and wake up to life.
